Description: Wolverines, brown bears, wolves, lynxes, golden eagles, goshawks as well as other wild animals live in the environs of Erä-Eero. The landscape around the hides has the natural beauty of northern wilderness. You will spend the night safely in a Animal Observation Lodge, sitting on comfortable chair or even take a little break and lie down in a bunk and have a little snack.
In addition to the lodge there are hides for professional photographers down in the valley with places for cameras. You can access the lodge and hides by car. One part of the lodge is accessible and equipped for persons using wheel chairs.
Programme: Upon arrival to Keljanpuro Brook (latest 2 pm) you receive information on location, procedures of animal observation and transfer to the observation lodge or hide. During the night the guide will inform the group of animals seen and their behaviour. A snack will be served during the course of the night. In the morning we return to Keljanpuro Brook. Season: Bear April-July and after the bear hunting season from early September. Bears visit the watching place well after the summer time. The autumn coloration of the leaves makes it a good time to watch and photograph wildlife. Wolverines and other animals are active during the whole year and it is possible to photograph wolverines all through the winter.

through the night. Dressing according to the weather, extra clothing may
be needed for the night. You may bring your own binoculars, cameras,
tripods. Please note: Clothing suitable for weather conditions. Everybody should bring their own cameras, binoculars and recording devices.
